|About the Greenroom website
The Greenroom is a community site for teachers using the Greenfoot software.
Its purpose is to share experiences and material, and to offer a platform for discussion and support.
The goal is to help all of us to find inspiration, help each other, find interesting material,
and ultimately to improve our teaching.
A "green room" is a room where performers prepare before their performance. From the Merriam-Webster dictionary:
Pronunciation: \'gre̅n-rüm, -rùm\
: a room (as in a theater or studio) where performers can relax before or after appearances
Thus the Greenroom is a place for teachers to meet before and after their "performance", discuss how to teach with Greenfoot, and to share their material for doing so.
All material on this site is available under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Licence, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
