    Short description:

This is a worksheet that lets the student create a scaled Sun and pair of planets. That is, the numbers for mass and vector and GRAVITY value are based on actual planet and sun numbers. They choose two planets and put them in the scenario with realistically scaled values.

    Full description:

The student is guided step by step to create their own “Sun and two planets” method, which uses actual planetary mass and vector and coordinates, scaled appropriately. It is not a worksheet in the conventional sense of asking questions over the material from Chapter 6, but rather an exercise in simulation.

    Level: Beginner

    Duration: 60 minutes or so.

Teaches: Parameters, Vectors. It is not actually a programming challenge, but uses Math to simulate a partial solar system.
